NUPR or the Northeastern Political Review is a student run political literary magazine released every semester. Articles written by students are collected, formatted and laid out into a fully designed magazine by a team of editors and designers.
FALL 2024
For our Fall 2024 edition, 'The Standard American Diet Must Die' was chosen as the primary featured article, which the magazine front and back covers are always based on.
The cover exaggerates the themes of the American Frontier, the meat industry, patriotism, and the capitalist nature of the US.
The graphics created for the article itself highlighted the sad reality of farm animals, the heavy push for meat in our diets, and the contrast of meat and vegetables.
SPRING 2025
For our Spring 2025 edition, 'Bookstores with Buttons: Section 230, AI, and Data Collection' was the primary featured article.
Both the cover and its article focus on the themes of the government surveillance, the rise of technology, and the debate of human privacy and rights.
For this edition I also worked on 'The Far Right's Secret Weapon - The Next Generation', the graphics for this article are primarily related to the government, voting, and the alt-right pipe line.
